STRENGTH & CONDITIONING AND PHYSICAL THERAPY

93 tickets remaining.

Don’t miss it! Only a little time left

We will talk about

Training, innovation, performance.
The 10th NSCA Global Conference is the event that connects the best professionals to build the future of athletic training and physical therapy.

The 10th NSCA Global Conference is the flagship event for strength & conditioning and physiotherapy professionals who want to continue growing, staying up to date, and improving their skills.

Two days of high-level education with national and international speakers to explore how strength & conditioning and physiotherapy can integrate to guide the athlete toward their full potential — enhancing performance, preventing injuries, and strengthening collaboration between the two professions.

During the sessions, leading experts in the field will share cutting-edge strategies, methodologies, and perspectives, providing practical tools that can be applied immediately both on the field and in the clinic.

Taking part means growing as a professional, expanding your expertise, and becoming part of an international network of colleagues and innovators.

A single experience, two worlds coming together: strength & conditioning and physioterapy, united to enhance the synergy between performance and rehabilitation.

The event will be held entirely in english, but selected practical sessions will be also available in Italian. Additionally, a simultaneous translation service will be available in the auditorium to support all the attendees who requires it.

Participating in this pre-conference event grants 6 ECM credits and 1.0 NSCA CEU.

The pre-conference event is designed as an advanced training day dedicated to the analysis and application of the latest methods for assessing and training strength and speed, with the goal of providing participants with practical, up-to-date, and scientifically validated tools.

During the morning session (9:00–12:30), led by instructors Antonio Squillante and Jean-Benoit Morin, participants will explore the principles of Velocity-Based Training (VBT) and force–velocity (F–V) profiling applied to strength training and acceleration-speed development. Through practical demonstrations and case studies, the use of measurement tools—such as linear position transducers and motion analysis systems—will be illustrated to build individualized profiles and translate them into targeted training programs.

The afternoon session (14:00–17:30), conducted by Luca Maestroni and Anthony Turner, will focus on force–time (F–T) profiling and its application in evaluating neuromuscular capacities, rehabilitation, and return to sport. The relationship between movement laws and key performance indicators will be explored, with particular attention to reactive strength, rate of force development (RFD), and propulsion. Practical examples will be presented on both healthy athletes and individuals recovering from ACL reconstruction, with discussion on using data to guide decision-making in the return-to-play process.

The entire day will alternate between theoretical content and on-field practical sessions, providing participants with skills that can be immediately transferred to sports performance and rehabilitation practice.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the relationships between strength, speed, and athletic performance;
  • Apply the principles of Velocity-Based Training in training program design;
  • Analyze and interpret force–velocity and force–time profiles in different sport contexts;
  • Use objective data and reliable metrics to guide decisions on performance, load, and recovery;
  • Integrate testing, training, and continuous monitoring into a sustainable and personalized performance model;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of strength and power programs also within rehabilitation and return-to-play settings

The Program

The event will be held entirely in English, but some selected practical sessions will also be available in Italian.
Additionally, a simultaneous translation service will be available in the Auditorium to support all attendees.
